Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the merriest and longest occasion whole year round.  They say its the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ but many doubts about it.  Some even do not believe in Christmas.  Christmas, do you really EXIST?
Just recently, disaster visited our fellow countrymen in Mindanao.  Many people have perished, livestocks hardly stand, and the community they called once, hardly recognized as a town.  Come to think of this.  We, enjoyed the coming of Christmas, yet, there they are.  Trying hard to survive, to live for the LEFT members of the family.  We know its very difficult to lose our beloved.
But when I heard the news, everyone is helping, trying to give whatever they could give to help the victims.  Well, I knew it was the spirit of Christmas.  If only, loving, sharing, forgiving, and helping is in our hearts every minute, our society would be so nice.  Think of the child who gave his own earnings.  Without any doubt he gave it.  About the man who tried to rescue his fellow, his life was on the line but he didn't think of it.  He still cares about the others.
Everyday, every time, Christmas is always there.  It's only us lacking to apply it in our lives.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1
Even just by reading this verse from the bible, we should already know we are very much free.  It doesn't matter on how you try to spend it.  If others have the rights, well, you have it right after you were born.  If they got opportunities, maybe you got more than they have.  They have the best in the world, then maybe you could use your best to get the best of the best.  Don't let anyone to stop you.  No one makes you future but you.
Now, if someone tries to get advantage, tell yourself, "I'm not going to let it happen".  If one tries to make you his slave, tell him, "You didn't create me. I don't think you got the right to have me as slave".  Jesus sacrificed His own life just to set us free, don't let a man to destroy that.  It's the truth.
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Responding to Climate Change

Since technology sprouted, problems also began.  And Climate Change is the one of it.
Who should  be blamed?  The world is changing.  Glaciers melt at a certain rate, seashores  are coming near,  and ices with a size of softball fall in equator regions.  And  more, unexpected tornadoes and hurricanes form from out of nowhere in places they should not.
Technology may help us a lot.   But did we ever think that it could destroy us much,  too?  How could we abuse the use of these technologies, knowing that in the end, we shall be the ones to suffer?
In previews years, science had proclaimed that there's already a hole in the ozone layer.  Causing the arctic ice loss,  many forest fires occuring  near  the polar regions, maybe even the change of ocean currents, and environmental temperature rises continuously.
Well, that's global warming.  If we do act now, many lives will pay for  it.  The next generations of youth may not know anything about  these beautiful wonders God has given us.   Its not yet too late.  There's still enough time to do what we have to do.
